Advances in RNA Science is a new peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes articles reviewed by experts in the field of RNA Chemical Biology and closely related areas. Our goal is to provide a platform to publish high-quality RNA research and to promote the advancements in RNA science. We welcome submissions from researchers around the world, and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of scientific rigor and integrity.

Advances in RNA Science articles are currently free to authors and free to readers. 

Topics covered

Advances in RNA Science mainly publishes articles related to chemistry and biology of RNA. This includes but not limited to the following areas:

  • RNA Folding

  • RNA Nanotechnology

  • RNA Aptamers

  • RNA Editing

  • Ribozymes and Riboswitches

  • Epitranscriptomics

  • RNA based biosensors

In addition, Advances in RNA Science will also publish research articles related to Deoxy Nucleic Acid (DNA) and other modified Xeno Nucleic Acids (XNAs) such as PNA, LNA, TNA,  and in the field of xenobiology.

Advances in RNA Science publishes original research articles, short communications, mini-reviews and voice of researchers. The submissions should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. It is the responsibility of authors to take permission to use any copyright material or figures in their manuscript.  

 

 

Manuscript Length

 

Manuscript templates in word file has been provided in 'online submisison' tab mentioning manuscript length, font sizes, reference style. Please note that the reference style of RNA Science is quite different from other journals. We do not show journal name in references to avoid citation bias, and provide only article title and link to the journal site, so that only relevant references could be cited from literature.

All manuscripts will be peer reviewed by members of the editorial board or qualified outside reviewers.

Advances in RNA Science editorial team ensures a rigorous and quality peer-review process for all the manuscripts submitted.

 

Editors and reviewers should be the expert in the subject of the manuscript. Reviewers should make sure that concept is sound, and is provided with minimal data required to support the hypothesis. The concept should be new and useful for other researchers, and should not be a slight modification of already reported literature. Reviewers are not encouraged to ask for any unnecessary data that does not affect the conclusions of the study.
